A Sit and Go Poker Timer in Your Browser

1. What a sit-and-go is

A sit-and-go, or SNG, is a single-table tournament that begins as soon as enough players sit down. There is no scheduled start and no late registration to manage, so it suits a casual night where people arrive and want to play immediately.

Because it is one table, you do not need multi-table tools or table balancing. A browser clock that counts levels and warns before each change covers the whole event.

2. Why the browser is enough for an SNG

For a one-table SNG the free web timer at / does everything you need: edit the small blind, big blind, ante, and minutes, add or remove levels, go full screen, and keep sound on. There is no signup and no download, so you can start the moment the table fills.

3. Turbo and hyper-turbo structures

SNGs are usually faster than a full tournament. Turbo means short levels that push the action; hyper-turbo is faster again, with very short levels and shallow play. Choose the pace to match how long you want the table to last.

• Standard SNG: moderate levels for a longer, more skillful game
• Turbo: short levels to finish a single table quickly
• Hyper-turbo: very short levels and a shallow stack for a fast, high-variance game

4. Set the structure in the browser

Press Edit structure and adjust each level. For a turbo SNG, keep the increases smooth even though the levels are short, so the game does not jump straight to all-in poker.

• Set a starting stack that gives a reasonable number of big blinds at level one
• Use gradual blind increases rather than repeated doubling

5. Run the table

Load the structure, put the clock full screen where everyone can see it, and press Start once so the browser allows sound. The timer plays a short warning one minute before each level ends and a distinct tone when the new blinds begin, so nobody has to watch the clock.

6. Pay the finishers

A single-table SNG usually pays the top two or three places. Agree the split before the first hand so the money is settled and everyone knows what they are playing for.
